Frequently Asked Questions
Cancellations will only be provided due to weather and are at the discretion of the captain. If the captain cancels the charter due to hazardous weather, we will work with you to reschedule or provide a refund. No shows will be charged the full price.
The captain will contact you the day of the sail if there are any weather concerns. There is an old saying in Charleston, "If you don't like the weather, just wait five minutes and it will change!" Therefore, we do not call off charters when the forecast calls for "a chance of thunderstorms." Afternoon showers are common in our area and quickly pass with sunshine to follow. The captain’s number one priority is your safety and comfort!
Inclement weather cancellations will be determined when winds are too high and/or there is heavy rain/lightning. You will be able to reschedule your charter or receive a full refund if we cancel due to weather.
Per United States Coast Guard (USCG) regulations, a maximum of 6 guests are allowed on the vessel. This number includes children. Any child under the age of 13 must wear a life jacket at all times. If you have your own children’s life jacket please ensure that it is Coast Guard approved. If not, we will provide jackets once on board.
Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, light jacket (if windy or a cooler day), and of course, your camera! It is recommended to wear closed toed non-marking shoes on board the boat.
A cooler stocked with bottled water and ice will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring wine, beer, and spirits aboard to enjoy responsibly while underway. Please refrain from bringing glass bottles to avoid accidents. Large rollable coolers are discouraged due to space and we have a small refrigerator that you are welcome to use. For catering service, we recommend Caviar & Bananas. Illegal drugs, smoking cigars, cigarettes, and vaping are not permitted.
